Educational Background

Dr. Lozano graduated from The University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2004. After marrying his wife Melody, he pursued his interest in advanced dentistry, moving to Texas to attend Baylor College of Dentistry’s residency in Prosthodontics. In 2007 he graduated with his certificate in Prosthodontics and his MS degree.   

Dental Background

Upon returning to his hometown of Gainesville, he started practice with Dr. Lewis Garrish and took over day to day operations of the practice from him in 2009. In 2008 Dr. Lozano also became part time clinical faculty at the University Of Florida College of Dentistry in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and teaches in the Center for Implant Dentistry.

Credentials, Accolades, and Achievements

Dr. Lozano has been recognized for multiple awards in Dentistry and is a member of the board of the Florida Prosthodontics Association, the American College of Prosthodontics, the Alachua County Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He is a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology, and participates avidly with that group on projects both inside of and outside of the USA. He has published multiple dental articles relevant to implant dentistry and photography in dentistry. Dr. Lozano lectures locally, nationally, and internationally to various organizations.

Dr. Lozano also loves photography, long distance off-road cycling and he, his wife Melody and their three boys enjoy attending and volunteering at their church, Trinity United Methodist.
