Medical Background
Dr. Lalama earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2017. He decided to advance his studies and pursued a residency in Prosthodontics. He served as chief resident there, and in 2020 graduated again from UF College of Dentistry with a certificate in Prosthodontics and MS degree. He joined Lozano Dental Care immediately after residency. Advanced Dentistry of Gainesville was established in September 2022, two years after Dr. Lalama joined Dr. Lozano’s practice in Gainesville.

Dr. Lalama is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, Florida Prosthodontics Association, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and the International Team for Implantology.
More about Dr. Lalama
Dr. Lalama was born in Ambato, Ecuador, and has lived most of his life in Florida. He met his wife, Maria, in high school, and years later married her during his last year of dental residency. They had an intimate ceremony in Sintra, Portugal with close family and friends. His family in Gainesville, FL grew by one in 2021 with the birth of his son, Gael. Other members of the family include two English Bulldogs, Chubs and Mila.
